Our story
Hi, I'm Ryan - freelance Dog Boarder and creator of DoggyDrain.
DoggyDrain started out as a simple DIY solution during Covid in Hong Kong. Taking the dogs out to pee was difficult amid lockdowns, even while absorbent pads were unobtainable. Things had to change since our home was becoming stinky and unmanageable. So, I designed and 3D printed a dog urinal that disposes of pee directly into the shower drain, a "doggy drain".

FAQs
Your dog will instinctively pee over the scent of dog urine (especially if it's another's), so just dab the provided Training Sticker onto urine and stick it on DoggyDrain's Wall. Alternatively, you may fold your dog's absorbent pad and hang it on DoggyDrain's Wall so your dog is urged to pee onto it. Or if your dog is accustomed to pee inducer/attractant, then apply it onto the Wall.
Cut the Flexible Tube to the length required to reach your shower drain. Connect one end of the Tube to DoggyDrain's Nozzle and insert or anchor the other end to the shower drain cover. Finally, attach the Removable Grid above the Base to deter contact with your dog's paws.
In normal circumstances, you will NEVER need to deliberately clean or even rinse your DoggyDrain as long as you shower in front of it daily. Do you shower daily?
DoggyDrain is made-to-order, with the main body 3D printed using Premium, High Quality ASA. It is then processed to a smooth, glossy finish and fully sealed. DoggyDrain is Waterproof, UV-resistant, and Durable for long-term, heavy-duty use.
None, because we use high quality equipment, materials, and process. DoggyDrain's surface is completely sealed and non-porous such that urine cannot penetrate.
DoggyDrain is available in Green and White options. Each color is available in Fine and Ultra-fine versions. Fine is lower cost, while Ultra-fine is printed with ultra-fine layers for maximum urine flow.
DoggyDrain is a patent-pending Hong Kong Innovation. Orders ship from Hong Kong.
Lead time currently varies between 4 days and 2 weeks, depending on capacity and order specification, with Large, Ultra-fine models taking the most time to manufacture. The lead time is subject to change.
